Our Story: Three Sisters, Three Shores, One Shared Passion

Terra & Tallow began with three sisters — Karen, Sherrie, and Michelle — living in three different states but sharing one very big idea: to create bath and body products that turn an ordinary day into a little moment of self-care.

We're different in plenty of ways (as sisters tend to be!), but we're connected by family, a love of the coast, and the belief that every woman deserves a little time that's just for her.

From our homes in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina, we created Terra & Tallow — a coastal-inspired bath & body collection filled with beautiful fragrances, thoughtful products, and a little personality from each of us.

That's why Terra & Tallow isn't built around just one style. Our three Signature Collections reflect the women behind the brand — Karen's North Carolina collection, Sherrie's Virginia collection, and Michelle's South Carolina collection.

The North Carolina Sister

The oldest sister, Karen brings a love of the coast, creativity, and just enough bossiness to keep the other two sisters in line. A dog lover, home cook, and self-proclaimed geek, she inspired our North Carolina Collection with its relaxed, coastal feel.

The Virginia Sister

The middle sister, Sherrie has a big heart, a love of all things beachy, and an undeniable weakness for pink. A veteran with a bold sense of style and a love for rich, beautiful scents, she inspired our Virginia Collection with a little glamour, a little coastal charm, and plenty of personality.

Michelle Duncan
The South Carolina Sister

The youngest sister, Michelle is down-to-earth, fearless, and happiest keeping things simple and genuine. A fabulous cook who loves preserving and canning, she gravitates toward familiar scents like lavender, vanilla, and honeysuckle. Her South Carolina Collection reflects her easygoing style — warm, comforting, and beautifully uncomplicated.
